π The Royal Charter of Province Island
βBy ink and seal, the land we claim; By word and honor, we rise in name.β
Let it be known, that on the 25th day of March, in the Year of the Isles 2025, this Charter is enacted to establish order, peace, and purpose within the bounds of Province Island. By decree of the Deed Founder and assent of the Council, the following laws shall serve as the foundation of our governance.
ποΈ Articles of Law and Order
Article I β Peace and Harmony
Section 1.1 β The lands of Province Island shall remain peaceful, unmarred by war or strife.
Section 1.2 β All actions taken upon these lands shall favor harmony, cooperation, and mutual respect.
Article II β Citizenship and Residency
Section 2.1 β Residency is granted to those who dwell with loyalty, contribute to the realm, and respect its order.
Section 2.2 β Abandoned homes or lands may be reclaimed by leadership after 30 days, unless prior notice is given.
Section 2.3 β No property may be transferred, traded, or subleased without express approval from leadership.
Article III β Construction and Design
Section 3.1 β All buildings must reflect the medieval-fantasy aesthetic of the Province.
Section 3.2 β Structures that are immersion-breaking, overly modern, or offensive to the visual harmony of the realm are prohibited.
Section 3.3 β See the Building & Design Standards for acceptable materials, layout, and style.
Article IV β Protection of Property and Livelihood
Section 4.1 β Theft, destruction of property, and griefing shall not be tolerated.
Section 4.2 β Tamed animals and vehicles must not obstruct public spaces or be abandoned.
Section 4.3 β The leadership reserves the right to impound, remove, or relocate animals and carts left in violation.
Article V β Laws, Amendments, and Public Discourse
Section 5.1 β All laws must be made public and kept accessible to all citizens.
Section 5.2 β Citizens may propose amendments during Council meetings. Proposed changes require a 2/3 vote and final approval by the Deed Founder.
Section 5.3 β Council meetings shall be open to all, and any citizen may request to speak, submit grievances, or call for review of existing law.
Article VI β Behavior and Community Standards
Section 6.1 β All citizens and guests must conduct themselves with dignity and respect.
Section 6.2 β Harassment, hate speech, and disruptive behavior are strictly forbidden.
Section 6.3 β Roleplay is welcome but must be consensual and considerate of othersβ boundaries.

Let these Articles serve as the living law of Province Island. As our community grows, so too shall our charterβthrough wisdom, dialogue, and unity.
