The Province Island welcomes citizens, settlers, and stewards alike to dwell within her walls. Land and housing are granted not by gold alone, but by trust, contribution, and shared vision.
📜 Residency Types
There are several paths to becoming a resident of The Province Island:
- 🪵 Free Housing (Common Room)
→ Modest dwellings provided to new or casual residents → Ideal for travelers, apprentices, or temporary guests
- 🧱 Custom-Built Housing (Homestead Plots)
→ Player-designed homes on pre-approved land plots → Follows Building & Design Standards
- 🏰 Manorial Estates (Noble Housing)
→ Larger residences with decorative gardens, courtyards, or titles → Reserved for officers, donors, or those of great service
🧭 Claiming Land
To request a homestead or structure:
1. Visit the Town Board or send a raven to leadership (Discord or in-game message) 2. Choose your location with a steward's guidance 3. Land fees (if applicable) are based on tile size and plot type 4. Follow design guidelines and begin construction!
🪙 Rental Fee Range:
- Standard Plot (5x5 to 8x8): 25–40 copper/month
- Large Estate (10x10+): Negotiable with Council
🔨 Building Rules & Style
- Structures must reflect a medieval aesthetic — stone, timber, or royal themes preferred
- No modern or immersion-breaking styles
- Roofs, fences, and signage should complement neighboring structures

💬 Citizen Rights & Responsibilities
- 🛏️ Residents may decorate and customize their homes freely within style limits
- 🚪 You may grant access to guests, but public disturbances are not tolerated
- 🏘️ Absentee homes for over 30 days may be reclaimed unless prior notice is given
